In times Ecologically correct, more and more we haven´t been wanting to carry on our sholders the weight of so many felled trees, and this Wednesday, October 21st, 2009, Artivinco, represented through its directors, received from the hands of the Environmental State Secretary, Francisco Graziano, a reforestation certificate, which proves our company´s comitment to the environment. The honor is given by the fact that Artivinco only uses legal Wood, in other words, wood that comes from explorations in areas with plans for sustainable forest management or from deforestation permits previously licensed. The Seal “Legal Wood” permits the society to distinguish the companies that sell native wood in a responsible way, and also, establishments in which consumes it in a sustainable way, like Artivinco has been doing. Consuming only wood with a legal origin and certificated is one of the most important attitude to fight the Amazonic Forest´s destruction and the earth´s warming. The forests are a big pocket of biodiversity, and it has as fundamental function in the earth´s ecological balance maintenance. The native forest´s preservation is essential to ensure our quality of life and the future generation´s as well. This is one of the whole lot of measures adopted by Artivinco, that more than create hundred´s of employments in our region and promote the economy, we still worry about the planet and with our self-sustaining projects developments based on consumption, and in the correct way, because consuming legal origined wood is a conscious attitude and environmentally responsible. .
